Mango Banana Dessert with Strawberry Bold Sauce
Another elegant and simple dessert featuring an intriguing sampling of flavours.
per person:
5-7 wafer thin slices of mango
1/3 banana, cut into quarters (about 2 good tablespoons)
1 recipe Strawberry Bold Sauce
a little lemon juice
1 T. honey
orange, lime or lemon zest
Arrange wafer thin slices of mango upon the pool (coulis) of sauce. Warm the honey with several drops of the lemon juice and stir until runny. Cut the banana into quarters and gently toss with the honey-lemon mixture. Arrange onto the mango slices. Garnish with julienne threads of lime and orange or lemon zest.
